Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be met by our safari representative and given a short briefing about your trip. Depending on your arrival time, you may enjoy a short Kigali city tour visiting the Kigali Genocide Memorial and local craft markets.
Afterward, embark on a scenic drive to Volcanoes National Park in the northern province, home to the famous mountain gorillas. The journey takes you through Rwanda’s beautiful countryside with terraced hills and rural villages.

After an early breakfast, drive to the park headquarters for a briefing about gorilla trekking rules and group assignments. Begin your trek through the rainforest in search of a mountain gorilla family. Once found, spend an hour observing and photographing these gentle giants in their natural habitat – a truly unforgettable experience.
After the trek, return to your lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, you may visit nearby communities or enjoy the beautiful lodge surroundings.

After breakfast, take a short trip to visit the beautiful Twin Lakes of Burera and Ruhondo, where you can enjoy scenic views and local fishing activities. Later, visit the Iby’Iwacu Cultural Village to experience traditional Rwandan music, dance, and crafts.
Interact with local people and learn about Rwandan heritage before returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
