Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel. After breakfast, depart Kigali and drive east to Akagera National Park, Rwanda’s only savanna park. Enjoy scenic views of rolling hills and rural communities along the way. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge.
In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive through the park’s grasslands and woodlands, where you can spot elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, and various antelopes. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Start the day early with breakfast before heading out for a full-day game drive in Akagera. Explore the northern sector of the park, known for its large herds of animals and excellent chances of spotting the Big Five – lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino.
Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park and continue exploring its diverse ecosystems, from open savannah to wetlands along Lake Ihema. In the late afternoon, return to your lodge for dinner and relaxation.

After breakfast, depart Akagera and drive back to Kigali for lunch. Continue northwest to Volcanoes National Park, home to the endangered mountain gorillas and the Virunga volcanoes.

After an early breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing before your volcano hike. Choose between hiking Mount Bisoke, which features a beautiful crater lake at the summit, or trekking to the Dian Fossey Tomb site to learn about her conservation legacy.
The hike offers incredible views of the Virunga range and the rich vegetation of the park. After descending, return to the lodge to relax and enjoy your evening.
