8 Days Uganda Safari

This 8-day Uganda adventure tour combines the best of the country’s wilderness, culture, and thrilling outdoor experiences. From white-water rafting on the Nile in Jinja to game drives in Murchison Falls and gorilla trekking in Bwindi, this trip is designed for adventurous travelers seeking unforgettable encounters in the Pearl of Africa.
Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe – Transfer to Kampala

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel in Kampala. Depending on your arrival time, you may take an optional short city tour to explore local markets, cultural sites, or the Uganda Museum. Enjoy dinner and overnight at your hotel.

Day 2: Kampala to Murchison Falls National Park via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

After breakfast, depart Kampala and drive north toward Murchison Falls National Park. En route, stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a guided rhino tracking experience. Continue to the park, crossing the Nile River to your lodge on the northern bank.
Arrive in the evening for dinner and overnight, surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.

Day 3: Game Drive and Boat Safari on the Nile

After an early breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive through the Buligi game tracks, known for lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, and leopards. Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.
In the afternoon, embark on a boat cruise along the Nile River to the base of the spectacular Murchison Falls. The cruise provides excellent opportunities for spotting hippos, crocodiles, and various bird species. Optionally, hike to the top of the falls before returning to your lodge for dinner.

Day 4: Murchison Falls to Kibale National Park

After breakfast, drive south through the lush Ugandan countryside, passing traditional homesteads and tea plantations. Stop in Fort Portal for lunch and enjoy scenic views of the Rwenzori Mountains before continuing to Kibale National Park.
Check in at your lodge for dinner and an evening at leisure.

Day 5: Chimpanzee Tracking – Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing before starting your chimpanzee tracking experience. Walk through the tropical forest to encounter chimpanzees and other primates such as colobus monkeys and mangabeys.
After lunch, transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, famous for its diverse wildlife and stunning landscapes. Enjoy a short evening game drive en route to your lodge.

Day 6: Game Drive and Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise

Start the day with a morning game drive across the Kasenyi Plains in search of elephants, lions, buffaloes, and antelopes. Return to the lodge for breakfast and relaxation.
In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, which connects Lakes Edward and George. The cruise offers excellent sightings of hippos, crocodiles, and abundant birdlife.

Day 7: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After breakfast, depart Queen Elizabeth and drive through the Ishasha sector, known for its tree-climbing lions. Continue to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to the endangered mountain gorillas.
Arrive at your lodge in the afternoon for dinner and relaxation in preparation for your gorilla trek the following day.

Day 8: Gorilla Trekking Experience – Return to Entebbe

After an early breakfast, proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing before your gorilla trekking adventure. Venture deep into the forest with your ranger guide to locate a gorilla family. Once found, spend a memorable hour observing their natural behavior.
After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch before beginning your journey back to Entebbe for your departure or hotel drop-off.
